Leroy Sane's knee problem has reportedly put the Manchester City attacker's proposed move to Bayern Munich in severe doubt.
Sane, who has entered the final two years of his contract at the Etihad Stadium, has been strongly linked with a switch to Bayern in this summer's window.
The English transfer window closes on Thursday but German clubs can still make signings until September 2.
However, according to the Daily Mail, the knee problem that the attacker picked up in the Community Shield last weekend could scupper his switch to the Allianz Arena.
The report claims that the injury which forced the Germany international off in the early stages is worse than first feared.
Meanwhile, City's £135m valuation of the 23-year-old is also said to be a huge issue for Niko Kovac's side.
Earlier this month, Citizens boss Pep Guardiola claimed that Sane was close to penning a new contract with the Premier League champions in July before making a U-turn.
