Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini praises the attitude of Argentine striker Carlos Tevez.

Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini has dropped the strongest hint yet that Carlos Tevez will remain with the Premier League champions next season.

It had been understood that the 28-year-old would depart City this summer following his off-the-field troubles last season, but Mancini has praised the Argentine's attitude.

"After January last year the problems with Carlos were finished. He came back to Manchester and his behaviour was good," he told City TV.

"He played a lot of games and scored important goals that helped us win the title. Now he has started the pre-season training very well."

Tevez scored just four goals for the club last season.
