Manchester City are reportedly interested in signing Wigan Athletic goalkeeper Ali Al-Habsi.
Romanian stopper Costel Pantilimon, who is currently Joe Hart's understudy at the Etihad Stadium, is expected to move on this summer in an attempt to secure first-team football.
City are therefore likely to be in the market for a new number two and, according to The Mirror, Al-Habsi ranks high on manager Roberto Mancini's shortlist.
Al-Habsi, 31, has two years remaining on his current contract at the DW Stadium, but he may be allowed to leave the Latics in a cut-price deal if the club are relegated later this month.
