Manchester City striker Erling Haaland is interested in extending his contract at the club, according to a report.
The Norway international joined the Citizens from Borussia Dortmund in July 2022 for £51m and he has since established himself as not only a star player at the Ethiad Stadium, but as one of the most prolific strikers in world football.
Haaland made his 100th appearance for Man City against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge last weekend and scored his 91st goal for the club during a 2-0 win in their first Premier League match of the new season.
The 23-year-old scored a remarkable 52 goals in 53 games during his debut campaign with the Citizens as they went on to win a historic Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League treble in 2022-23.
Haaland then netted 38 times in 45 games last season, including 27 strikes in 31 Premier League matches to win a second successive Golden Boot and fire Pep Guardiola's side to an unprecedented fourth consecutive top-flight title.
Man City's No.9 has three years remaining on his contract at the Etihad, but the Citizens are believed to be determined to tie the striker down to a new-and-improved contract amid reported interest from La Liga giants Real Madrid and Barcelona.

Haaland 'ready' to extend Man City contract beyond 2027
It is understood that Real Madrid are long-term admirers of Haaland and have aspirations of potentially recruiting the Norwegian to play alongside their latest Galactico signing Kylian Mbappe.
Meanwhile, Barcelona president Joan Laporta is allegedly 'dreaming' of luring Haaland to Camp Nou and has ambitions of 'splashing' the cash on marquee signings as he bids to strengthen his campaign to be re-elected in 2026.
In June, Haaland refused to comment on reports suggesting that Man City are looking to extend his contract and increase the £175m release clause in his current deal.
According to Football Insider, Haaland was initially not too keen on extending his contract at the time, but he is now interested in penning fresh terms with Man City.
The report adds that the reigning Premier League champions intend to extend his deal beyond 2027 and strike a 'hugely' lucrative agreement with their leading marksman.
Man City are also set to internally discuss the future of star playmaker Kevin De Bruyne, 33, who is out of contract in the summer of 2025 and has been strongly linked with a move to Saudi Arabia.
