Barcelona manager Pep Guardiola reportedly rejected the chance to sign Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez.
Reports in Spain have claimed that the Catalan giants were offered the Argentina international by the Premier League leaders. However, it is understood that Guardiola turned down the opportunity to sign the controversial star.
Tevez has been embroiled in a transfer saga since November, when he jetted off to South America without Man City's permission.
While AC Milan, Paris Saint-Germain and Inter Milan have all come close to agreeing respective deals with the North West club, Tevez remains a City player and is likely to until the end of the season.
Meanwhile, the frontman has decided to appeal a six-week fine imposed by City for the striker's ongoing absence.
