Bayern Munich sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic has reportedly met with the new representatives of Leroy Sane to discuss a deal for the Manchester City attacker.
The German champions were linked with Sane last summer but a serious knee injury scuppered the 24-year-old's chances of moving to the Allianz Arena.
Bayern continue to be credited with an interest in the Germany international, though, and according to Bild, the Bundesliga giants have now stepped up their pursuit.
The report claims that Salihamidzic recently met with LIAN Sports in Munich to discuss Sane moving to the Allianz Arena during this summer's transfer window.
The attacker has not turned out for City since suffering his serious knee injury in August, although he had stepped up his recovery before the postponement of the season.
Barcelona and Real Madrid are also said to be interested in the former Schalke 04 winger.
