Barcelona 'prepared to sell Nelson Semedo to Premier League club'

Barcelona are reportedly prepared to allow Nelson Semedo to join a Premier League club this summer.

The Portugal international is not believed to be in the long-term plans of new Barca boss Ronald Koeman, who is allegedly targeting a move for Ajax right-back Sergino Dest.

Semedo was linked with a switch to Manchester City earlier this summer although suggestions that the defender could join Pep Guardiola's side have quietened in recent weeks.

According to ESPN, Barca have been contacted by an unnamed Premier League club and are open to the 26-year-old moving to England's top flight before the end of the transfer window.

Semedo has been a regular for the Catalan giants since arriving from Benfica in 2017, making 124 appearances in all competitions.

The Portuguese's current deal at Camp Nou is due to expire in the summer of 2022.
