Luis Suarez is reportedly prepared to fight for his career at Barcelona, despite being left out of Ronald Koeman's plans for the 2020-21 campaign.
In the days after his arrival at Camp Nou earlier this summer, Koeman held a brief phone call with Suarez to inform him that he is free to leave the club.
While that has led to speculation regarding a possible transfer to Juventus, the Italian champions are said to have pulled out of the race to sign the 33-year-old.
According to Sport, Suarez is ready to bide his time before making a final decision on his next move, not ruling out the possibility of spending the final nine-and-a-half months of his contract at Barca.
The report suggests that the veteran may be prepared to spend the first half of the campaign in the stands to further assess the situation.
Atletico Madrid and Ajax have also emerged as admirers of the attacker.
