The agent of Ilkay Gundogan has denied recent suggestions that the Borussia Dortmund midfielder has agreed a deal in principle to join Manchester City at the end of the season.
The Germany international has been heavily linked with a number of Premier League clubs in the past, but the Citizens reportedly lead the way to get a transfer over the line.
Dortmund boss Thomas Tuchel was forced earlier this month to reject rumours claiming that Gundogan's move to the Etihad Stadium was all but complete, after pictures circulated showing the player's representatives meeting with City director Txiki Begiristain.
Ilhan Gundogan, who was said to be present at that meeting, has now told German publication Bild: "It is not true [that a deal is done]. There is no decision and everything is still open. Ilkay is focusing further on his recovery."
Gundogan is contracted to Dortmund until 2017, having penned a new-and-improved contract at the Westfalenstadion last summer.
