John Stones has been named in Manchester City's starting lineup for their Premier League title-deciding clash against Aston Villa at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday, while Kyle Walker features on the substitutes' bench.
The Citizens will be crowned champions for the fourth time in five seasons if they claim maximum points against Steven Gerrard's men.
Both Stones and Walker were initially ruled out for the rest of the season by Pep Guardiola with respective muscle and ankle injuries, but both defenders took part in training on Thursday and they are now involved in today's matchday squad.
With Ruben Dias still sidelined with a hamstring injury and with Walker only fit enough to make the bench, Stones is expected to start at right-back, with Fernandinho – making his final appearance for the club – and Aymeric Laporte to continue at centre-back. Joao Cancelo, meanwhile, keeps his place at left-back.
