Galatasaray have confirmed the appointment of Roberto Mancini as manager.
Former Manchester City boss Mancini has signed a three-year contract and takes over from Fatih Terim, who was sacked last week in what was his third spell in charge of the Turkish side.
News of Mancini's new job broke last night and the Turkish giants confirmed this morning that negotiations were ongoing over the Italian's contract before this evening's official confirmation.
Mancini's first match in charge will be tomorrow's Champions League clash against Juventus in his native Italy.
He is quoted as saying on Gala's official Twitter page that it is "going to be a nice coincidence for me."
Mancini, 48, will work with the likes of Didier Drogba and Wesley Sneijder at the Istanbul club.
