West Ham are looking to sign controversial striker Carlos Tevez on a three-month loan, reports suggest.

West Ham are considering offering Carlos Tevez a three-month loan deal, reports suggest.

The Hammers have contacted Manchester City over the possibility of taking the controversial striker off their hands, according to The Sun.

However, City are understood to want to keep the Argentinian at the club while legal options are explored over his alleged refusal to come on as a sub in a Champions League clash with Bayern Munich this week.

Tevez is currently serving a two-week suspension for the affair, but the striker insists that he did not refuse to play.

Tevez played at West Ham during the 2006-2007 season, but controversy surrounded his move to the club from Corinthians over third-party ownership.
