Former Barcelona forward Luis Suarez has blasted the "evil" people responsible for Lionel Messi's contract leak.
Details of the Argentine's eye-watering £492m deal were published in a report by El Mundo the other week, with the publication stating that his contract would "ruin" a cash-strapped Barcelona.
Ronald Koeman has insisted that anyone at the club found responsible for the leak would be sacked, and Suarez has since echoed the Dutchman's frustrations.
Speaking to Onda Cero, Suarez said: "I was surprised to read Messi's contract in the press. I don't understand that there are people who have so much evil. What Barcelona is today is thanks to Leo.
"He is [playing] at a spectacular level, he is the best in the world. Messi will retire wherever he wants, he can decide whether it's at Barcelona, in Argentina or wherever."
Messi continues to be linked with a summer move to Manchester City or Paris Saint-Germain, but he is understood to be "fed up" of the constant speculation over his future.
