Jesus Navas has said that victory over Manchester United would be a "very big win" for Manchester City ahead of this afternoon's derby match at Old Trafford.
Manuel Pellegrini's side will be looking for a fifth win in six meetings with their local rivals, having been beaten 4-2 when the sides last met.
The winger told Goal.com: "The last derby didn't go as we wanted but I believe that in the rest of the games we played well and this year we have another opportunity.
"My favourite [derby] is the first one that I had the chance to play in, we scored a lot of goal at home. The truth is I have a lot of great memories and we have got some great victories against them.
"Now we have a derby, a very important game, and we're looking forward to it. I'm keen to keep playing, enjoying, and doing well. We know that they're a great team no matter who plays and we're very focused."
Navas has played in all nine of City's fixtures in the Premier League so far this season.
