Sheikh Mansour says that there is no pressure on Roberto Mancini to achieve quick success at Manchester City.

Manchester City owner Sheikh Mansour has revealed that he is in no rush for Roberto Mancini to achieve silverware at the Etihad Stadium.

The billionaire tycoon has pinpointed the Premier League trophy, rather than a successful Champions League campaign, as the side's main priority.

"We are all satisfied with what has been achieved at this level, but you must have patience," said Mansour. "Sometimes I meet a lot of Emirati and Arab brothers (supporters) in London, and see them criticise the work of the manager Roberto Mancini, but I think that his plans are going on the right path.

"We have to ask ourselves where we have been and what Manchester City have become now, just to realise that what we have accomplished is great. Hard work is still required, but without any hurry."

The North West club currently sit five points clear at the top of the table.
