Vincent Kompany has stated that Manchester City's defeat to Sunderland "doesn't matter" and that the Premier League leaders have resumed "focus".
The North West side squandered the chance to go three points clear at the top of the table following a last-minute shock defeat to Martin O'Neill's side at the Stadium of Light.
"We didn't deserve to lose but that doesn't matter right now," Kompany wrote on Twitter. "We're staying cold as ice and focus on what's next. End of story."
