Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany has described his side's 1-0 victory at home to Arsenal as a "massive win".
David Silva's second-half goal was enough to put the Blues back at the top of the Premier League table.
"It was massive for us. I don't think we underestimated the importance of the game," Kompany told Sky Sports News.
"It was very open but we managed to keep a clean sheet.
"We have been going for a lot of goals [this season] and we could have had a lot of goals [today]."
Roberto Mancini's side next host Stoke City at the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday evening.
