Manchester City keeper Joe Hart: 'We should have beaten Leicester City'

Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart says that the team should have beaten Leicester City, but were held to a goalless draw.

Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart has described tonight's stalemate against Leicester City as a game that the former Premier League champions "should have won".

The joint highest scorers in the Premier League failed to strike as they played out a goalless draw at the King Power Stadium.

The Foxes would have returned to the summit of the league with a win, but they reside second in the standings, level on points with leaders Arsenal, while City have moved up to third, three points off the top.

"It's a game we should have won," Hart told BT Sport. "It's a clean sheet - that's the positive. The negative is it's a game we should win.

"We are not where we want to be but we are right up there without playing very well. We are in a good position and the two teams above us deserve to be above us. We have to win all our home games and be damn hard to beat in our away games."

City have not claimed back-to-back wins in the Premier League since October.
