Manchester City and England goalkeeper Joe Hart has suggested that he wants to emulate the legacies of former teammates Frank Lampard and Steven Gerrard.
Hart made his 300th appearance for City during their final-day Premier League victory over Southampton, with the stopper now looking to build a memorable foundation at the Etihad.
"What Lampard and Gerrard have done is amazing. I strive for that too," Hart told The Mirror.
"There are other people in that category, like John Terry and Jamie Carragher. They are inspirational. It's so hard to do what they have done: to get in to a top team when you are very young and stay there.
"I am really proud to have played 300 games for this club and I want to stay for as long as they want me."
The 28-year-old has so far notched 50 caps for England at international level since making his debut in 2008.
