Malaga coach Bernd Schuster has revealed that he wants to return to Germany this summer.
A report on Monday had claimed that Eintracht Frankfurt were interested in bringing the experienced manager back to Germany.
The 54-year-old has now confirmed that he is interested in that particular position as he prepares to depart Malaga at the end of the season.
"It's no secret that I'd go back to live and work in Germany and the Bundesliga," Terra Deportes reports Schuster as saying.
"Yes, I want to coach Eintracht Frankfurt. If I finish the season with Malaga in the top 10 my contract will be extended by four seasons, and for that we have to win both games.
"Otherwise, either party can terminate the contract. I'm on [Eintracht's] list, but I don't know if I'm first, second or third. But that's normal. My wife likes it in Germany."
Schuster has not managed in Germany since 1998, when he took charge of Koln for one season.
