Bafetimbi Gomis heading for West Ham United?

Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas suggests that Bafetimbi Gomis could join West Ham United during the January transfer window.

Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas has hinted that Bafetimbi Gomis could join West Ham United in January.

The 28-year-old French striker recently confirmed that he would be leaving the Ligue 1 club in the near future.

A number of sides in both England and Italy are said to be monitoring the forward's transfer situation.

The Metro quotes Aulas as saying: "An offer from West Ham for Gomis? It's not impossible as we've received several offers for Bafe recently."

Gomis has scored five goals in 13 appearances for Lyon so far this season.
