Ludogorets Razgrad manager Georgi Dermendzhiev has played down his side's performance in their 2-1 Champions League defeat at the hands of Real Madrid, believing that the Bulgarian outfit could have got a better result.
Marcelinho opened the scoring for the home side in the seventh minute, but goals by Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema ensured that the Spanish giants wouldn't leave the Vasil Levski National Stadium red-faced and empty-handed.
Dermendzhiev told reporters after the match: "It was a good game, but the result could have been better for us.
"Ludogorets played a good match against the best team in the world. I am pleased, we almost got a point."
The result means that Real Madrid top Group B, while Ludogorets remain bottom.
