Wolverhampton Wanderers have reportedly identified Liverpool midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain as a potential transfer target.
The two clubs have been constant dialogue during the latter part of this week, with Diogo Jota moving to Anfield and Ki-Jana Hoever making the switch in the opposition direction.
At a time when the clubs possess a solid working relationship, it appears that Wolves may be interested in signing another player from the Premier League champions.
The Mirror claims that Nuno Espirito Santo is keen on Oxlade-Chamberlain, another player who would fit the criteria of being able to slot into a number of positions.
Although the 27-year-old is regarded as an important member of Jurgen Klopp's squad, the England international has moved further down the pecking order due to the arrival of Thiago Alcantara.
The report suggests that Liverpool may be prepared to do business for a fee in the region of £25m, a price tag which may tempt Wolves into putting together a formal proposal.
