Tottenham Hotspur 'to win £25m Saido Berahino race'

Tottenham Hotspur will reportedly win the race to sign £25m-rated West Brom striker Saido Berahino this summer as Liverpool turn their attention to Danny Ings.

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly closing in on the signature of West Bromwich Albion striker Saido Berahino.

The England Under 21 international found himself in trouble with Baggies boss Tony Pulis after stating in an interview his desire to leave Albion at the end of the season.

The Daily Mail claims that long-time admirers Spurs are ready to agree a £25m deal for the young forward in the summer.

The Lilywhites are said to be eyeing Berahino as a strike partner for Harry Kane as they try to secure Champions League football.

Liverpool were also thought to be interested in the attacker as they looked to bolster their squad, but appear to have set their sights on a deal for Burnley's Danny Ings.
