Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has revealed that keeper Pepe Reina is part of his plans for next season.
The Spaniard struggled in the early part of the campaign for the Reds making several high-profile errors, which led to reports suggesting that he would be replaced at Anfield.
Rodgers told reporters: "I am counting on him for next season, yes. He's never been unsettled and our relationship is very strong.
"Pepe and I speak a lot. He's a good man and I've real respect for him."
The 30-year-old has made 32 appearances for Rodgers's side this season.
