Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has admitted that he is targeting "quality" players for the summer transfer window.
While the Northern Irishman has insisted that he has "top players" within his team, the former Swansea City boss believes that new additions will help push the club up the table next season.
"We'll be in a much better place at the start of next season," talkSPORT quotes Rodgers as saying. "Everyone can see we have improved and got better.
"We've got some top players but you need quality throughout the team and once we bring in that quality we'll move up to the next level.
"We'll look at it in the summer, every club will bring in more players and we'll aim to bring in that quality that will improve the group."
Rodgers nabbed the signings of Philippe Coutinho and Daniel Sturridge during the winter window.
