Liverpool have reportedly shaken hands on a two-year deal with Croatian defender Domagoj Vida, but must now agree terms with Besiktas.
The 29-year-old is understood to have been targeted by at least four Premier League clubs since helping his national side to the final of the World Cup.
Arsenal, Everton and West Ham United have all been credited with showing an interest in Vida, though Liverpool appear to have won the race.
Turkish outlet A Spor suggests that the Reds must now settle on a figure for the centre-back after the former Dynamo Kiev man agreed to a move.
Due to the growing interest since the World Cup finished earlier this month, Vida is now believed to be valued at around £22m.
