Inter Milan have reportedly registered an interest in signing Liverpool midfielder Lucas Leiva in the summer transfer window.
Lucas made 29 appearances for Liverpool last season, but struggled to hold down a regular place in the starting XI as Brendan Rodgers elected to use Steven Gerrard in a deeper role for most of the campaign.
Rodgers has not yet revealed whether the Brazilian, who was left out of the World Cup squad by Luiz Felipe Scolari, is in his plans ahead of the new Premier League season.
According to the Daily Mail, Inter are keeping an eye on the situation, but no formal offer has been made by the Italian club.
Napoli have also been linked with a move for the 27-year-old in recent days.
