Liverpool goalkeeper Pepe Reina has admitted that he is open to returning to Spain this summer following a loan stint with Napoli.
The 31-year-old was shipped out on a temporary basis to reunite with manager Rafael Benitez in Italy, but a permanent move is yet to materialise.
While Reina is planning to return to Merseyside after the World Cup in Brazil, the shot-stopper is keeping his options open.
Reina told Onda Cero: "As things stands, I will return to Liverpool after the World Cup. A return to Spain is always possible, particularly at my age.
"But I also have a chance to continue at Napoli. I was happy in Italy and the project of Rafa Benitez is excellent."
Liverpool were expected to part ways with Reina after signing Simon Mignolet, who went on to take the Reds' number one spot last season.
