Real Madrid reportedly have no intention of selling midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni in the summer transfer window.

Real Madrid are reportedly not prepared to listen to offers for Aurelien Tchouameni.

After impressing during his 95 appearances as a Monaco player, Tchouameni completed an €80m (£71.5m) transfer to Real Madrid last summer.

Prior to the World Cup break, Tchouameni started 11 of Real Madrid's 14 La Liga matches, but his playing time has taken a hit since returning from the tournament in Qatar.

Due to an injury issue and selection decisions, the Frenchman has had to settle for five starts in Real Madrid's last 15 league games.

Carlo Ancelotti still relies on the experience of Toni Kroos and Luka Modric, while Eduardo Camavinga has established himself as a key part of the Real Madrid side.

Having seemingly fallen down the pecking order at the Santiago Bernabeu, there has been speculation about whether the midfielder could leave this summer.

A recent report claimed that Liverpool were one of the clubs showing an interest in the 23-year-old as they prepare to rebuild their midfield.

With Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain set to leave on free transfers in the summer, the Reds will need to sign replacements ahead of the 2023-24 season.

However, their hopes of signing Tchouameni appear to have been dashed, as Real Madrid have reportedly made their stance clear on a potential sale.

According to AS, the reigning European champions are not willing to entertain offers for the France international.

The Real Madrid hierarchy recognises that Tchouameni is yet to live up to expectations, but they believe that it may take time for him to adapt.

As a result, Los Blancos are prepared to be patient and have no interest in parting ways with a player that they signed last summer.

Tchouameni played the duration of Saturday's 2-0 win over Cadiz, providing the assist for Nacho Fernandez to drive home Real Madrid's opening goal from the edge of the box.

After playing just seven minutes in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final tie with Chelsea, Tchouameni is expected to drop down to the bench when Ancelotti's side make the trip to Stamford Bridge for Tuesday's second leg.
