Liverpool are poised to strengthen in the close season by bringing in Manchester City midfielder James Milner and Burnley striker Danny Ings, according to reports.
The 22-year-old Clarets forward struck the winner in his side's 1-0 victory away at Hull City on Saturday, but could not prevent them from being relegated from the Premier League.
Meanwhile, the City man is out of contract at the end of the season and is expected to leave the Etihad Stadium after stalling on talks over a new deal.
According to the Liverpool Echo the Reds are after both players, with the Ings deal said to be "close" to completion.
