Liverpool have reportedly submitted a bid of £12m for Croatia defender Domagoj Vida.
The Besiktas centre-back, who has featured for his country throughout the World Cup finals in Russia, started alongside current Reds defender Dejan Lovren in Saturday's penalty-shootout win over Russia and scored his team's second goal.
According to Turkish outlet Aksam, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is keen for Vida to partner up with Lovren on Merseyside and has registered firm interest in capturing the 29-year-old.
The news outlet says that while Vida could be keen for the switch, the four years left on his current deal, along with his performances in Russia, could allow Besiktas to raise the defender's price tag significantly.
Vida spent five years at Dynamo Kyiv before moving to Turkey.
