Liverpool are ready to allow Naby Keita to leave the club during this summer's transfer window, according to a report.

Liverpool are reportedly ready to allow Naby Keita to leave the club this summer.

The 26-year-old arrived at Anfield with a big reputation, having enjoyed an impressive spell with RB Leipzig between 2016 and 2018.

The midfielder has largely struggled to make his mark for the Merseyside giants, though, contributing only seven goals and four assists in 76 appearances in all competitions.

Keita only made 10 league outings during the 2020-21 campaign, meanwhile, and according to ESPN, Jurgen Klopp's side are prepared to offload the Guinea international during this summer's transfer window.

The report claims that the Reds are looking to sell a number of first-team players in the upcoming market in order to raise funds for reinforcements.

Keita has recently been linked with a move to La Liga champions Atletico Madrid.
