Liverpool close to Victor Valdes deal?

Liverpool reportedly agree terms with free agent Victor Valdes.

Liverpool are reportedly lining up a swoop for former Barcelona goalkeeper Victor Valdes.

The Spanish shot-stopper is a free agent, meaning that he is free to find a club outside of Monday night's transfer deadline.

According to Sport, Valdes has agreed terms with the Reds and is on the verge of moving to Anfield.

Brendan Rodgers is said to see the ex-Barca man as the ideal keeper to put pressure on Simon Mignolet.
