Watford attacker Ismaila Sarr has said that any player "would love" to play for Liverpool amid suggestions that the Reds are interested in his signature.

The 22-year-old enjoyed an impressive 2019-20 campaign for the Hornets, scoring six times and providing six assists in 30 appearances in all competitions.

The Senegal international was unable to help keep Watford in the Premier League, though, and he could be on the move during this summer's transfer window.

"Liverpool are a really great team, everyone would love to play there," Sarr told Sans Limites when questioned on the transfer speculation. "They won the Premier League this year and the Champions League last year. But there are other great teams in the English league.

"Frankly, I have yet to make a choice. If I am to leave, I just hope it is for a good team. At the moment, it is just guesswork."

Sarr, who scored five Premier League goals in 2019-20, still has four years left to run on his contract at Vicarage Road, having penned a five-year deal upon his arrival from Rennes last summer.
