Borussia Dortmund rubbish Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang transfer rumours

Borussia Dortmund deny reports that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang could leave the club in January amid rumoured interest from Barcelona and Liverpool.

Borussia Dortmund have rejected reports that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang could leave the club in the January transfer window.

The 26-year-old, who joined the Bundesliga club from Saint-Etienne in 2013, has been linked with a move to Barcelona.

The forward has also been named as a potential target for new Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp, who signed Aubameyang during his seven-year spell at Dortmund.

When pressed by rumours of Barcelona's pursuit, Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc told Bild: "We plan clearly with Auba."

Aubameyang is also quoted as saying: "I am here with all my heart, I've never wanted to leave."

The striker has found the back of the net 14 times in 14 appearances in all competitions so far this season.
