Fabio Borini reveals that he hopes to win trophies with Liverpool following a move from Roma.

Fabio Borini has revealed that he hopes to 'achieve his maximum' at Liverpool after he completed a move from Roma.

The 21-year-old striker penned a long-term deal at Anfield on Friday for a fee believed to be in the region of £11m.

"I hope to achieve the maximum I can, by scoring goals, getting into the Champions League and all of the things the club also wants - and all the other players," he told the club's official website.

"It's a top club that has won a lot of trophies in the past, and will do so in the future we hope as well."

Borini previously played under manager Brendan Rodgers at Chelsea and Swansea City.
