Liverpool goalkeeper Pepe Reina reveals that he is comfortable with the way the club have performed this season.

Pepe Reina has claimed that Liverpool are a better team than last season despite their disappointing Premier League form.

Kenny Dalglish's team have already won the Carling Cup this season and are set to face Chelsea in the final of the FA Cup in May, but the Merseyside club have struggled for consistency in the league.

Reina said: "There's no doubt we've improved from last season already.

"The target of the club is still to get back in the Champions League.

"But before the start of the season, if someone had said we'd win the Carling Cup, reach the final of the FA Cup as well as getting seventh, probably most people would have taken that."

Liverpool have only taken four points from the last 18 available to them in the Premier League.
