Former Premier League manager Harry Redknapp has criticised Raheem Sterling and Jordan Henderson for reportedly rejecting big-money contracts from Liverpool.
It has been widely reported that Sterling turned down a £100,000-a-week offer from the Merseyside outfit, prompting speculation that he could leave in the summer.
It has also been suggested that Henderson, who is expected to replace Steven Gerrard as captain next season, has rejected a contract worth £80,000 a week.
Redknapp believes that both players should remain at Anfield and thank their "lucky stars" that they are at a "great club" like Liverpool.
"Sterling has been offered 100 grand a week - it is a fantastic offer," Redknapp told talkSPORT. "It is a great offer. Get on and play your football. He will get his 200 grand a week or whatever he is chasing in a few years. Henderson is the same.
"Henderson has done well but he has still got a long way to go to be one of the all-time Liverpool greats. He is nowhere near that at the moment.
"He looks a great lad, a good player, but get on with your football and keep progressing. Keep playing your football and thank your lucky stars you are at a club like Liverpool."
Both players featured in Liverpool's 1-0 win over Blackburn Rovers in last night's FA Cup quarter-final replay at Ewood Park.
