Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has responded to Sam Allardyce's criticism by claiming that the Sunderland boss has "too much time" to think about the Merseyside outfit.
Allardyce recently claimed that Klopp is responsible for Liverpool's injury problems because of his demand for high pressing.
Liverpool currently have eight first-team players out of action, and Allardyce has suggested that Klopp underestimated the "ferocity" of the Premier League.
In response, Klopp told reporters: "I knew about the Premier League. It's not a problem. Maybe he has too much time to think about Liverpool problems.
"I don't have time to think about this. We know about our situation, but we have to react and that is what we try to do."
Philippe Coutinho is facing a significant spell on the sidelines after suffering a hamstring injury in Tuesday's 1-0 win over Stoke City.
