Liverpool youngster Yasser Larouci has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Leeds United.

While the 19-year-old has been provided with opportunities during pre-season fixtures, his sole competitive start for Liverpool came during an FA Cup tie with Shrewsbury Town last season.

The youngster now has less than a year remaining on his contract at Anfield, leaving Jurgen Klopp to make a decision regarding the Frenchman's future.

According to The Mirror, Leeds are keen to agree a deal with the Premier League champions over the next 48 hours.

Marcelo Bielsa is open to parting ways with Barry Douglas, a development which would free up space for a new arrival at left-back.

The Argentine has already brought in a mix of prospects and experienced players since the club earned promotion to the Premier League.
