Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk took to social media on Wednesday to provide an update on his recovery from a serious knee injury.
The Netherlands international has been on the sidelines since suffering an anterior cruciate ligament injury during a challenge with Everton's Jordan Pickford in the Merseyside derby in October.
Van Dijk underwent surgery to correct the issue, and Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has admitted that the centre-back is unlikely to play again before the end of the 2020-21 campaign.
The 29-year-old has stepped up his recovery both in the gym and on the training field, though, with the Dutchman providing an update via a video posted on his personal Twitter account.

Van Dijk was back at Liverpool's training base in the latter stages of 2020 but has also been in Dubai working with a number of specialists as he bids to recover as soon as possible.
The Merseyside club's defensive injuries saw them sign both Ozan Kabak and Ben Davies from Schalke 04 and Preston North End respectively in the final stages of the winter transfer window.
