Liechtenstein and Moldova have played out a 1-1 draw in this evening's Group G Euro 2016 qualifier in Vaduz.
Hosts Liechtenstein won the reverse in Chisinau for their only win of qualifying, but they couldn't do the double on home turf as Moldova fought back for a point.
The first half was an action-packed one, with both sides having several chances and a goal at either end.
Moldova were the first to threaten in the fourth minute when Anatoli Cheptine saw his effort acrobatically kept out by Peter Jehle.
The opening goal arrived midway through the half when Liechtenstein midfielder Sandro Wieser fired home from about 30 yards.
Franz Burgmeier almost doubled the lead soon after, but Moldova dominated the rest of the half as Jehle pulled off two more saves before the visitors drew level just before the break.
Gheorghe Boghiu received the ball on the right of the penalty area and drilled home a low shot into the far corner.
Chances were less frequent after half time and the closest either side came to a winner was in the 82nd minute when Boghiu almost secured Moldova's first win of qualifying with a looping header that came back off the post.
Both sides stay fifth and sixth in the Group G table on five and two points respectively.
