Half-Time Report: Jabo Ibehre cancels out David Mooney's opener

Jabo Ibehre cancels out David Mooney's opening goal as Colchester United are holding Leyton Orient to a 1-1 draw in League One.

Jabo Ibehre has cancelled out David Mooney's opening goal as Colchester United are holding Leyton Orient to a 1-1 draw in League One.

Mooney, who enjoyed a year-long loan spell with the U's, returned to haunt his former club in the 15th minute, firing past goalkeeper Sam Walker after a neat pass from Dean Cox.

Joe Dunne's men responded well to slipping behind but, despite enjoying a wealth of possession, struggled to create the opportunities necessary to restore parity.

However, the hosts soon found a breakthrough courtesy of former Orient forward Ibehre, who fired home the equaliser from inside the box 10 minutes from the interval.
