Riyad Mahrez: 'Two or three clubs could tempt me away from Leicester City'

Riyad Mahrez says that only "two or three" clubs could tempt him away from Leicester City this month.

Riyad Mahrez has revealed that only "two or three clubs" could tempt him away from Leicester City.

The 25-year-old winger has been among the transfer gossip pages this summer following his impressive displays in the Foxes' historic Premier League title-winning campaign.

Arsenal were thought to have had a £30m bid rejected by the Foxes earlier this month, while Chelsea were also rumoured suitors.

Leicester manager Claudio Ranieri has maintained that Mahrez will stay put, and now the player himself has claimed that only a few clubs would be able to lure him away from the King Power Stadium.

"[The Premier League] is a super league and I would like to stay here as long as possible," Mahrez told France Football.

"Now, there are two or three clubs in the world, that if they come for me, it definitely makes you think, if you understand what I am trying to say."

Mahrez started in Leicester's 2-1 defeat to Hull City on the opening day of the season on Saturday.
