Brighton & Hove Albion have reportedly put a price tag of £40m on centre-back Lewis Dunk amid interest from Leicester City.
The Foxes are in the hunt for new defensive options ahead of the likely big-money departure of Harry Maguire for Manchester City or Manchester United and have been linked with moves for experienced former Chelsea skipper Gary Cahill and Burnley defender James Tarkowski in recent days.
According to The Sun, Foxes boss Brendan Rodgers has also earmarked 27-year-old Dunk as a potential replacement for Maguire but has been told that he will cost in the region of £40m plus add-ons.
Dunk has spent his entire career with the Seagulls - apart from a brief loan spell with Bristol City six years ago - and has turned out 270 times for the side across the top three tiers of English football.
Newly-promoted Aston Villa have also been linked with his signature, although the hefty price tag means that a move to the Midlands side is unlikely.
