Dakonam joined Getafe from Belgian outfit Sint-Truden last summer, and impressed during his first season in La Liga - scoring once in 36 appearances during the 2017-18 campaign.

Sevilla are among the clubs believed to be interested in the 26-year-old, but last month, Getafe president Angel Torres insisted that El Geta will not be selling the Togo international for under his buy-out clause, which is £31m.

According to various reports in France, Leicester are weighing up a £15m offer for the central defender ahead of the 2018-19 Premier League campaign.
