West Bromwich Albion captain Jonny Evans has moved a step closer to joining Leicester City after completing a medical with the Premier League side.
According to BBC Sport, the Foxes will pay £3.5m for the Northern Irishman in two instalments, in accordance with a clause in his contract.
Evans spent three years with the Baggies but is said to be eager to leave the club following their relegation to the Championship.
The defender came close to parting ways with the Midlands outfit during the last two transfer windows, having been courted by Manchester City.
Evans made 96 appearances for West Brom in all competitions.
