Leicester City captain Wes Morgan has blamed his side's shock opening-day defeat at Hull City on the players being rusty, but thinks that they can bounce back from their "blip" and prove that they are worthy champions.
The Foxes, who lost only three out of 38 Premier League games in 2015-16 en route to the title, were beaten 2-1 by the newly-promoted and managerless Tigers at the KCOM Stadium.
Morgan told Sky Sports News after the game: "We tried, but we were second-best. Hull deserved to win. We need to learn from the negatives to put it right. We will work in training and cut out the little mistakes.
"It was the first game so there was always going to be a bit of rust on the players. We need to dust that off and come back better.
"At the top everyone looks for you to fall - we need to show it's a blip, and that we can bounce back."
Leicester's next league game is against Arsenal at the King Power Stadium next Saturday.
