Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers confirms that full-back James Justin will spend five more weeks on the sidelines after suffering a ligament injury in February.

Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers has confirmed that full-back James Justin will continue his lengthy absence through injury, ahead of Saturday's clash with Burnley.

After starting the first 23 games of the Foxes' Premier League campaign last term, the English defender was sidelined with a ligament injury in February and is yet to return to action after missing the remainder of the season.

Speaking to the press ahead of Saturday's meeting with Burnley at the King Power Stadium, Rodgers said: "He's still a number of weeks away. He's been working so hard, mornings into evenings. There's maybe another four to five weeks.

"Wesley and JJ are the only two. Everyone else is fit," the Northern Irish manager went on to say, confirming that 20-year-old centre-back Wesley Fofana is the only other player to miss out, after he suffered a fibula fracture in a pre-season friendly.

Varying between playing right-back and left-back, Justin, who arrived from Luton Town in 2019, has made 36 Premier League appearances for the Midlands side, while earning eight caps for England Under-21s.
